Otho was born in 1430 in Compton, , Devon, England.  Otho's father was William Gilbert and his mother was Isabel Gambon.  His paternal grandparents were William Gilbert and Elizabeth Champernon; his maternal grandmother is Isabelle UNKNOWN.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 64 in 1494 in Compton, , Devon, England.
