Ioanna Karatzaina 
Ioanna was born in 1148 in Nicaea, Bursa, Turkey. Ioanna's father was Theodore Laskaris Byzantine Empire and her mother is UNKNOWN Eufrozina. Her paternal grandfather was Manolis Laskaris. She was an only child. She died at the age of 52 in 1200.
Ioanna and Manolis were married in a religious ceremony in 1168 in Nicaea, Bursa, Turkey. They had a son named Theodoros I.
