Friedrich von Hohenstaufen 
Friedrich was born about 1122 in Swabia, Germany. Friedrich's father was Frederick I Von Staufen and his mother was Judith of Bavaria. His maternal grandparents were Heinrich IX der Schwarze Von Bayern and Wulfhild Billung. He had a sister named Judith. He was the older of the two children. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Frederick II, Conrad III and Richilde. He died on June 10th, 1190 in Cilicia.General Notes
Supporter of the emperor conrad (his uncle) on the 2nd Crusade.
Attended King Baldwin's assembly at Acre, 24 June 1148.
One of the three leaders of the Third Crusade with Richard of England and Philip "Augustus" of France.
