Augustine Warner 
Augustine was born on November 28th, 1610 in Norwich, Norfolk, England. Augustine's father was Thomas Warner and his mother was Elizabeth Southerton. His paternal grandparents were William Warner and Mary; his maternal grandparents were Augustine Sotherton and Ann Peck. He was an only child. He died at the age of 64 on December 26th, 1674 in Warner Hall, Gloucester Co, A. He was buried in Warner Family Cemetery, Warner Hall, Gloucester, VA.General Notes
Augustine was one of the first Virginia Immigrants to sail to the New World under Captain Adam Thouroughgood in 1628. He received the earliest known land grant in Gloucester County in 1635.
Augustine is the great grandfather of George Washington, as well as an ancestor of Robert E. Lee, Captain Meriwether Lewis (of Lewis and Clarke), and the present Queen of England.
