Roger was born about 1229 in Emral, Worthenbury, Flintshire, England. Roger's father was Roger Puleston and his mother was Agnes Monthermer. His paternal grandfather was Richard de Pyvelsdon. He was an only child. He died in lynched in Caernarvon, Wales.General Notes
Roger was given Emral Manor by King Edward I about 1282/3.
Appointed in 1284 by King Edward I as the first Sheriff of Anglesey and the first Constable of Caernarvon Castle and in 1293 to collect taxes for the French wars. He was lynched in Caernarvon on 17 January 1294 by the Welsh objecting to those taxes!
