William Hay 
William was born about 1365. William's father was Thomas Hay and his mother was Janet Johanna Jean Gifford. His paternal grandparents were David de la Haye and Margaret Keith; his maternal grandfather was Hugh Gifford. He had two half-sisters named Elizabeth de and Rachel. He died in 1421 in Yester Castle.-
