John Hamilton 
John was born about 1496 in Samuelston, East Lothian, Scotland. John's father was James Hamilton and his mother was Elizabeth Lindsay. He was an only child.
John and Janet were married in a religious ceremony before August 24th, 1531. They had a daughter named Margaret.
