Iye Du Mackay 
Iye was born about 1530 in Farr, Strathnaver, Sutherland, Scotland. Iye's father was Donald MacKay and his mother was Elene Sinclair. His paternal grandparents were Iye (Red) Roy MacKay and FNU O'Beolan; his maternal grandparents were Henry Sinclair and Margaret Hepburne. He was an only child. He died in November 1572 in Sutherlandshire, Scotland.-
