Edward was born in 1665 in St Paul Parish, Kent Co, MD. Edward's father was John Beck and his mother was Mary Hoover. He had three brothers and two sisters, named John, Mathew, William, Mary and Rebecca. He died at the age of 59 in November 1724 in St. Paul's Parish, Kent co, MD.General Notes

Edward Beck, died 1724 (brother of John) married Ann Pullin, daughter of Richard Pullin of Cecil County, will registered on 4/2//1688. Immigrated to Cecil county in 1760, establishing properties at (or named) "Long Compton", "Barton", and "Reserve", the latter on a branch of Fendals Creek. (fr Lowell Graves at Ancestry.com)
They had four sons and four daughters, named Edward Sr., Caleb, Aquilla, Joshua, Ann, Rosamund, Ledia Read and Rebecca.
