His paternal grandfather is Robert Fitzmauldred and his paternal grandmother was Isabel de Neville; his maternal grandfather is John de Monmouth. He had two brothers and a sister, named John, Geoffrey and Agnes. He was the oldest of the four children. He died in 1271.General Notes
