His paternal grandparents were Ramire Flavio III and Sanchia Gomez De Saldana Y Carrion; his maternal grandparents were King of Leon & Asturias Bermudo de Leon (The Gouty) II and Velasquita) Elvira Garcia. He was an only child. He died in 1057.
