Catherine was born in 1322 in Thurston,Stow,Suffolk,England.1 Catherine's father was 1rst Earl of Suffolk, 2nd Baron d'Ufford Robert Ufford III and her mother was Margaret Norwich. Her paternal grandparents were 1rst Baron d'Ufford, Sir Knight Robert Ufford II and Cecily de Valoines; her maternal grandparents were Walter Norwich and Catherine Hedersete. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Robert, William, Joan, Cecily and Margaret. She was the oldest of the six children. She died in England.1 General Notes
