Her paternal grandparents are James Shields and Hannah *. She had a brother named Frank. She had six half-brothers and five half-sisters, and also two half-siblings of unknown gender, named James, Andrew, Robert, Frank, Andrew, William, Hannah, Margaret, Abby J., Mamie, Mammie, 2 Unknown Children and 7 Unknown Children.General Notes
According to the 1880 US census, this girl (her name is very hard to read - I'm making my best guess that it is Catherine) was "maimed, crippled, bedridden, or otherwise disabled". However, she is listed as being "at school". Also according to Arthur M. Shields interview with Margaret (Peg) Shields/Eberhardt, she is Mary (Aunt Minnie? Mimi?).
