John Jacob *Rasweiller Sr.

John Jacob was born on September 10th, 1858 in Brooklyn,Kings,NY.¹   John Jacob's father is Jacob Rasweiller and his mother is Catharine *Schmenner.  His paternal grandfather was Jacob Rasweiller; his maternal grandfather is *Schmenner and his maternal grandmother was Catherine *Schnieder. He had a brother and four sisters, named Jacob, Elizabeth, Catharine, Emma S. and Caroline.  He was the oldest of the six children.  He died at the age of 83 in 1941.² 

‌John Jacob and Barbara were married in a religious ceremony in January 1884.³   They had six sons and three daughters, named Jake, Carl, Henry W., Philip George, George Paul, Frederick Adam John, Katherine, Augusta and Miss.
