Uchtred *Mac Crinan 
Uchtred's father was Lay Abbot of Dunkeld, Lord of the Isles Crinan Grimus (The Thane) and his mother was Princess of Scotland Bethoc. His paternal grandfather is Mormaer of Atholi Duncan *; his maternal grandfather is King of Scotland Malcolm Mac Kenneth * II. He had two brothers named Maldred and Duncan.
