Baudouin *Hainault IX

Baudouin was born in July 1171 in Hainault,Belgium.  Baudouin's father was Baudouin Hainault VIII and his mother was Comtess de Flandres Marguerite *d'Alsace.  His paternal grandparents are Baudouin Hainault IV and Alix de Namur; his maternal grandfather was Comte d'Alsace et Flandres Thierry *d'Alsace III and his maternal grandmother is Sibylla d'Anjou. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Phillip, Henri, Eustach, Isabella, Yolande and Sybil.  He is the second oldest of the seven children.
