Cecilia's father was Lord Walter Clifford II and her mother is Agnes Cundy. Her paternal grandfather was 1rst Lord of Clifford Walter Clifford and her paternal grandmother is Margaret Toeni; her maternal grandparents are Lord Coventry Roger Cundy and Lady Horncastle Alice Cheney.
