Chilperic was born about 0425 in Bourgogne.1 Chilperic's father was King of Burgundy Gondioc and his mother is Queen of Burgundy Caratene. His paternal grandfather was Gundicar Gebica and his paternal grandmother is Hrothildis of Westgoten; his maternal grandparents are Cheif Male Suevi of Iberia * and Visigoth Female *. He had a brother named Gondobad Gondioc. He is the younger of the two children.
