Her paternal grandfather was Carolingian King of Franks Pepin (Le Bref (The Short)) * and her paternal grandmother is Countess de Laon Bertrada (Grand Pied (Big Foot)) * II; her maternal grandparents were Gerold von Vinzgau I and Imma(Emma) von Schwaben. She had five brothers and seven sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Pepin nee(Carloman), Lothair, The Pious, le Debonaire, Hugo, Inego Aresta, Adeltruda, Aupais, Hrotrud, Gisila, Rothtrudis, Adelaide, Emma and Drogo.1 -
