Richard Basse 
Richard was born on August 2nd, 1658 in Nansemond,Virginia. Richard's father was John Basse and his mother was Keziah Elizabeth Tucker. His paternal grandparents were Nathaniel Basse and Mary Jourdan; his maternal grandfather is Cheif Robin Tucker The Elder. He had four brothers and two sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Nathaniel, Samuel, William, John, Keziah, Elizabeth Keziah and Jordan. He was the second youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 64 on December 26th, 1722.-
