Richard was born about April 17th, 1635 in England. Richard's father was William Ward and his mother was Elizabeth Hall. His paternal grandfather is Edward Ward. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named John, Obadiah and Joanna. He died on March 31st, 1666 in Sudbury, Middlesex, Massachusetts, USA.General Notes
Ancestor.com ID#173448He was assigned a house lot of 18 acres in Marlborough in 1660. There is no record in the Massachusetts files of his becoming a freeman. After he drowned in the Sudbury River, his widow and brother William were appointed guardians of the children.
