John Shelley 
John was born about 1495 in of, Clapham, S, England. John's father was William Shelley and his mother was Alice Belknap. His paternal grandparents were John Shelley and Elizabeth Michelgrove; his maternal grandparents were Henry Belknap and Margaret Knowles. He had four brothers and three sisters, named James, Richard, Edward, Thomas, Margaret, Elizabeth and Katherine. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died on December 16th, 1550.1 -
