Joseph Merrick

Joseph was born on June 6th, 1722 in Harwich, Barnstable, Massachusetts, USA.¹   Joseph's father is Joshua Merrick and his mother is Lydia Mayo. He had three brothers and four sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Thomas, Seth, Barnabas, Abigail, Lydia, Hannah, Mary and Bealeel.  He is the third oldest of the nine children.
