Edward was born about 1446 in of Stanton Harcourt, Oxfordshire, England. Edward's father was Richard Harcourt and his mother was Edith (Elizabeth) Saint Claire. His paternal grandfather was Thomas de Harcourt and his paternal grandmother is Joan Francis; his maternal grandparents are THOMAS SAINT CLAIRE and MARGARET HOO. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Christopher, William, Anne and Alice. He was the second oldest of the five children. He died about 1471.General Notes
