William Danvers

William was born about 1197 in of Tetsworth, Oxfordshire, England.  William's father was Robert Danvers.  His paternal grandparents are William Danvers and Emma Chevauchesul. He had three brothers named Geoffry, Nicholas and Ralph.  He was the second oldest of the four children.  He died before 1246.

‌William and Matilda were married in a religious ceremony about 1224 in , Oxford, England.¹   They had two sons named Robert and Richard.
