Joshua was born in 1637 in Eastham, Barnstable, Massachusetts, Usa.1 Joshua's father was Edward Bangs and his mother was Rebecca Hobart. His paternal grandfather was John Bangs and his paternal grandmother is Jane Chavis(Chaires); his maternal grandparents were Edmund Hubbard (Hobart) and Margaret Dewey. He had a brother and seven sisters, named Jonathan, Sarah, Lydia, Bethia, Mercy, Apphia, Rebecca and Hannah. He had a half-brother named John. He died at the age of 74 on January 14th, 1711 in Eastham, Barnstable, Massachusetts, Usa.General Notes
