Rhoda was born in 1793 in Giles, VA, USA.1 Rhoda's father was George Parris and her mother was Rebecca Clay. Her paternal grandparents were Richard Pearis and Pratchey Moytoy. She had four brothers and three sisters, named George N, Robert Alexander, Charles Lewis, Samuel Pepper, Julia, Rebecca and Eleanor. She had nine half-brothers and ten half-sisters, and also a half-sibling of unknown gender, named Moses "Tu Lu Squit", Robert, John David, Aaron, George Parris, George, James, John, William, Nellie, Sallie, Lucretia, Betsy, Caty, Lucretia, Lueretia, Nancy, Rachael, Rachel and Jesse. She died at the age of 88 on March 13th, 1881 in Tazewell, VA, USA.1 -
