Robert Forbes 
Robert was born on September 9th, 1824 in KY. Robert's father was John Forbes and his mother was Mary Polly Hines. His paternal grandparents are Robert Forbis and UNKNOWN Mary. He had three brothers named Henry, Thomas and Issac. He died at the age of 76 on March 4th, 1901 in Peggs, OK. He was buried in Blue Springs Cemetery, Tahlequah, Cherokee Co., Indian Territory.General Notes

It appears that John Henry Forbes and his wife Nancy Hayes were married a
nd right afterwards moved in with the Forbes family. Don't know how lo
ng they stayed.
‌Robert and Malinda Phebe were married in a religious ceremony on January 15th, 1846 in Laurel Co., KY. They had three sons and six daughters, named John Henry, Eli Green, Robert, Emiline Polly, Phebe, Mary E., Emaline, Charlotte and Martha Jane.
