‌Rhys Ap and Gwenllian Verch were married in a religious ceremony in 1150 in Dynevor Castle, Llandyfeisant, Carmarthen, Wales.¹   They had ten sons and fifteen daughters, named Gruffudd Ap, Gryffydd Ap, Cadwgan Ap, Rhys, Rhys Ap, Maredudd Ap, Cynwrig Ap, Maelgwn Ap, Cadwaladr Ap, Maredudd, Nest Verch, Elinor Verch, Nesta Verch, Rhys Gyrg Ap, Margred Verch, Ankaret, Lleucu Verch, Nest Verch, Gwenllian Verch, Ankaret Verch, Catrin Verch, Elinor Verch, Agnes Verch, Angharat De South and Hywel Sais Ap.
