William Van Hook

William was born on June 23rd, 1723 in Freehold, Monmouth, NJ, USA.¹ William's father was Aaron Van Hook. His paternal grandparents were Lawrence Van Hook and Johanna Hendricks Smith. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Lawrence, Jacob, Lawerence J, Benjamin, Hendrick, Sarah, Francinke, Geartje, Johanna and Maria. He died at the age of 79 in 1802 in Maurice River, Cumberland, NJ, USA.¹
