Hendrick was born on February 19th, 1701 in New York, NY, USA.1 Hendrick's father was Lawrence Van Hook and his mother was Johanna Hendricks Smith. His paternal grandparents were Arent Isaacszen Van Hoeck and Styntie Laurens; his maternal grandparents were Hendrick Barents Smith and Geertje Willems. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Aaron, Isaac, Frances, Johanna, Geertje and Francinke. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 49 on October 28th, 1750 in Freehold, Monmouth, NJ, USA.1 -
