Robert Spencer

Robert was born in 1610 in Cople, Bedfordshire, England.¹ Robert's father was Nicholas Spencer and his mother was Mary Elmes. His paternal grandparents were Robert Spencer and Rose Cokayne; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Elmes and Christian Hickling. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Nicholas, Christian, Nicholas, Alice, Mary and Rose. He was the third youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 47 in 1657.¹
