William Ap Gwilym 
William Ap was born in 1400 in Penrhyn, Llandygai, Caernarvonshire, Wales.1 William Ap's father was Gwilym Ap Gruffydd and his mother was Jonet Stanley. His paternal grandfather was Gruffydd Ap Gwilym; his maternal grandparents were William De Stanley and Margaret Arderne. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Gwilim Griffith Ap, William Ap, Elsbeth Verch and Ellen. He was the third oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 83 in 1483 in Austria, Hungary.1 -
