George Duke

George was born in 1869.¹   George's father was DUKE and his mother was Carolyn Murrow.  His paternal grandfather was Unknown Duke. He had a brother and three sisters, named Harry, Mary, Ada and Mlas.  He was the second youngest of the five children. He had five half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Carrell, Isaac, Levi, David, Francis Dewey, Amanda, Jennie, Virginia and Josephine.
