Wigburg was born in 0944 in Verdun Sur Meuse, Meuse, France.1 Wigburg's father was Eberhard Count Nordgau and her mother was Luitgard De Luxembourg. Her paternal grandparents were Hugo Lll Hohenburg and Hildegarde De Ferrette. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Hugh, Gerard Von Nordgau D, Hugo V, Hugues Lower, Hedwig and Adelaide. She was the third youngest of the seven children.-
