Gilbert De Clare 
Gilbert was born on May 10th, 1291 in Winchcombe, Tewkesbury, Gloucester, England.1 Gilbert's father was Gilbert De Clare and his mother was Joan England. His paternal grandparents were Richard De Clare and Maud De Lacy. He had four sisters named Alianore, Margaret, Eleanor and Elizabeth. He was the second oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 23 on June 24th, 1314 in Battle, Bannockburn, Stirlingshire, Scotland.1 -
