Thomas' father was Robert Cobbs and his mother was Rebecca Vinckler. His paternal grandparents were Robert Cobb and Elizabeth Thorpe; his maternal grandfather was Abraham Vinkler. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Robert, Thomas, John, Vinkler, Thomas, Thomas, Lydia, Elizabeth, Rebecca and Mildred. He died in 1761 in Albemarle, VA, USA.1 -
