WILLIAM I 'THE CONQUERER' and MATHILDA (MAUD) were married in a religious ceremony in 1053 in CATHEDRAL NOTRE DAME D'EU, NORMANDY.1   They had four sons and six daughters, named ROBERT II 'CURTHOSE', RICHARD, WILLIAM II 'RUFUS', HENRY I 'BEAUCLERC', CECILIA, ADELIZA, CONSTANCE, AGATHA, MATHILDA and ADELA.
