Henry Wolcott 
Henry was born before December 6th, 1578 in Tolland, Somerset, England and his baptism took place on December 6th, 1578 in Bapttised, Lydiard, St. Lawerence, Somerset, Eng. Gaulden Manor.1 Henry's father was John Wolcot and his mother was Agnes Crosse. His paternal grandparents were John Wolcott and Agnes Butler. He had two brothers named Christopher and John. He died on May 30th, 1655 in Windsor, CT.2 General Notes

Henry, his wife, and three of their sons sailed from Plymouth on the
"Mary and John". They arrived in Dorchester MA 31 May 1630. Their two
duaghters and youngest son arrived a few years laer. Henry settled at
windsor CT and was one of the 19 men named in the Connecticut Charter.
He was a member CT House of Delegates and House of Magistrates. He died
in 1665 and in buried in the churchyard of the First Congregational
Church at Windsor CT. Henry m. Elizabeth Saunders in 1607 at Lidiard S

Henry evidently never owned or occupied Gauldon Manor, he inherited it
from his brother. He was a miller and may have lived in the mill hous
Becoming upset with the English church, he joined the Warham & Maverick
emigrants to America on the "Mary and John" in 1630, "both died in ho
Ly buried under one tomb in Windsor"
In 1636-7 moved to and helped settle Windsor, CT. He was an undertaker
of the ship "Hopewell" in 1640.
