Sarah was born in 1646 in Hartford, Hartford Co., CT. Sarah's father was John Watson and her mother was Margaret Smith. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Watson and Elizabeth Watson; her maternal grandparents are Samuel Smith and Mrs. Elizabeth Smith. She had two brothers and a sister, named John, John and Mary.
