George was born in August 1678 in London, England.1   George's father was George Stillman and his mother was Lady Jane Pickering.  His paternal grandparents are George Stileman and Sarah UNKNOWN; his maternal grandparents were Sir Gilbert Pickering and Elizabeth Montagu. He had a brother and two sisters, named Samuel Stileman, Stileman and Jane Stileman.  He was the oldest of the four children. He had five half-brothers and nine half-sisters, named Nathaniel, Dea. John, Deacon Stillman, Benjamin, Ebenezer, Rebecca, Mary, Sarah, Martha, Anna, Elizabeth, Esther, Hannah and Lydia.  He died at the age of 82 in 1760 in Westerly, Kings Co., Rhode Island.1

‌George and Deborah were married in a religious ceremony on April 10th, 1706 in Westerly, Rhode Island.2   They had two sons named John and Elisha.
