Franklin Benjamin was born on August 17th, 1884 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake Co., Utah. Franklin Benjamin's father was Franklin Benjamin Platt and his mother was Carrie Cornelia Harmon. His maternal grandparents were Norton Edward Harmon and Thankful Loretta Tanner. He had four brothers and a sister, named Francis, Paul, Norton, Edward Orson and Cora. He was the oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 70 on August 7th, 1955.General Notes
