Philippa was born on March 31st, 1360 in ,Leicester, Leicestershire, England. Philippa's father was John "of Gaunt" England and her mother was Blanche Plantagenet. Her paternal grandparents were EDWARD ENGLAND and Philippa Countess of Hainault & Holla. She had three brothers and two sisters, named John, Edward, Henry IV King, Elizabeth and Isabel. She was the oldest of the six children. She had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named John "Fairborn", Henry "Cardinal", Thomas, Blanche and Joan Dedist of Columb. She died at the age of 55 on July 19th, 1415 in ,Sacavem, Lisboa, Portugal. She was buried in ,Batalha, Leiria, Portugal.-
