Martha Oliver 
Martha was born on May 31st, 1848 in Salford, Lancashire, England. Martha's father was Thomas Oliver and her mother was Sarah Ashworth. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Oliver and Mrs. Jane Oliver; her maternal grandparents were John Ashworth and Ann Varley. She had four brothers and five sisters, named Thomas, John, Thomas, Joseph, Mary Ann, Jane, Hannah, Sarah Ann and Mary Ann (Twin). She was the second youngest of the ten children.
