Maritje Thomas was born about 1608 in Amsterdam, Noord-Holland, Nederland.1 Maritje Thomas' father was Thomas Badie and her mother was Aeltjen Braconie, Brackhonge. Her maternal grandfather was Eli Braconie. She had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Lambert Cornelise, Aeltje "Albie" Cornelis and Peterje Cornelise. She died after January 1697 in Gowanus, Kings, New York.General Notes
