Richard Herbert 
Richard was born in 1412 in of Coldbrook, Abergavenny, England and his baptism took place in {godwin}. Richard's father was William Thomas and his mother was Gwladus Verch Dafydd. His paternal grandfather was Thomas ap Guillem Herbert and his paternal grandmother is Maud Morley; his maternal grandparents are Dafydd "Gam" ap Llewelyn and Gwenllian Verch Gwilym. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, William, Elizabeth and Margred. He was the oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 57 in 1469 in Banbury, Northamptonshire, England. He was buried in Priory Church, Abergavenny, Monmouthshire, England.-
