John Groff 
John was born on July 4th, 1730 in Lancaster Co., Pennsylvania. John's father was Jacob GROFF and his mother was Barbara Brackbill. His paternal grandfather was Hans GROFF and his paternal grandmother is Unknown UNKNOWN; his maternal grandparents were Benedict Brackbill and MARIA MARGARETHA KUNDIG HERR. He had three brothers and seven sisters, named John, Benjamin, Jacob, Anna, Frances\Veronica, Fannie, Mary, Anna, Barbara and Barbara. He was the fourth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 28 in 1758 in ,Lancaster, PA.General Notes
