Theobold was born about 1329 in Wraxall, SOME, Eng.. Theobold's father is Theobold Russell and his mother is Eleanor Gorges. His paternal grandparents are William of Kingston Rus. Russell and Jane Peverel; his maternal grandfather was Ralph of Wraxhall Gorges and his maternal grandmother is Eleanor Ferrers. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named John and Roberga.
