Adelaide was born in 1062 in Valois, Bretagne, France.  Adelaide's father was Herbert IV Count Of Vermandois and her mother was Adele De Valois.  Her paternal grandfather was Otto (Eudes) Count Of Vermandois and her paternal grandmother is Pavie (Pravia) UNKNOWN; her maternal grandparents were Raoul 'The Great' De Valois and Adele De Bar-Sur-Aube. She had two brothers named Eudes and Gerardus.  She was the second oldest of the three children.  She died at the age of 58 on September 23rd, 1120 in Meulan, France.

‌Adelaide and Hugh "The Great" Magnus were married in a religious ceremony in 1078.1   They had a son and three daughters, named Raoul, Agnes, Matilda (Maud) and Isabelle.

‌Adelaide and Renaud were married in a religious ceremony in 1102.1   They had a son and a daughter, named Renaud and Marguerite.
