Charles DEVOU 
Charles was born on July 29th, 1765 in Morrisania, Westchester, New York. Charles' father was John DEVOE and his mother was Maria DEBEVOICE. His paternal grandparents were Daniel DeVeaux and Margaret Caljer; his maternal grandparents were Carel Debevoise and Eva (Eve) van Voorhees. He had two brothers and nine sisters, named Frederick, John Jr., Sarah, Margaret, Anna, Elizabeth, Eve, Effy(Euphemia), Sally (Sarah), Euphemia (Effie) and Anna. He was the third oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 73 in 1838 in Ny, Ny.General Notes
